As the Senior Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management you will provide executive leadership for enterprise patient safety clinical risk management regulatory readiness and safety culture initiatives across a multi-hospital division. Working closely with executive leaders physicians nursing teams and operational partners you will drive strategies that reduce risk improve outcomes and strengthen a Just Culture.

What Youll Do

  • Lead division-wide patient safety and risk management strategies
  • Advance High Reliability principles and safety culture initiatives
  • Partner with executive leaders on quality safety and regulatory priorities
  • Oversee safety investigations Root Cause Analyses and improvement plans
  • Analyze trends and data to identify opportunities for system improvement
  • Guide regulatory readiness and accreditation efforts
  • Develop and mentor patient safety and risk management leaders

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing; Masters preferred or in progress
  • Current State RN license
  • 7 years of nursing experience including acute care
  • 7 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
  • Expertise in patient safety risk management quality improvement and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with High Reliability principles Joint Commission standards and complex healthcare environments

Preferred certifications:
CPHQ CPHRM CPPS CPSO
