About This Role This position serves as the second-in-command of the Operations function at SecurTec partnering closely with and reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations. The Senior Director of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day execution and continued maturation of SecurTecs operational organization across all field and management functions.

Position Summary The Senior Director of Operations is a senior leadership role at SecurTecs West Palm Beach corporate headquarters. The position acts as the operational right hand to the VP of Operations translating strategic direction into execution holding the operations leadership team accountable and ensuring SecurTec delivers consistent high-quality service across every client contract. The Senior Director owns the operational rhythm of the company: performance management contract execution client satisfaction operational standards and the development of the operations leadership bench.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the deputy to the VP of Operations with authority to act on the VPs behalf when required
  • Lead and develop the Operations leadership team including Security Managers Site Supervisors and other operations leadership across SecurTecs portfolio
  • Drive operational performance contract compliance client satisfaction and quality standards across all client sites
  • Establish and maintain operational KPIs dashboards and reporting cadences for the VP and executive leadership
  • Lead recurring operational reviews site audits and performance management processes
  • Partner with the VP of Operations on strategic planning contract growth mobilizations demobilizations and resource allocation
  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for client concerns and high-impact operational issues
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance Human Resources Talent Acquisition Compliance and the GSOC to ensure alignment across the company
  • Lead operational due diligence on new contracts including staffing models post structure and scope feasibility
  • Develop and continuously improve operational SOPs post orders training programs and accountability systems
  • Support emergency and disaster response operations alongside the VP of Operations and GSOC leadership
  • Build the operations leadership bench through mentorship development planning and succession planning
Schedule & Location This is a full-time position based out of SecurTecs corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach FL. Standard hours are Monday through Friday with a mix of headquarters-based work and regular field time spent visiting client sites conducting operational reviews supporting mobilizations and engaging directly with field leadership. Availability is required for after-hours operational escalations emergencies and disaster response activations.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of progressive experience in security operations military law enforcement or large-scale field operations leadership
  • 5 years of senior management experience leading multi-site operations with managers reporting up
  • Demonstrated success leading teams of 250 field personnel across multiple client sites or contracts
  • Strong command of operational performance management KPIs and accountability systems
  • Excellent leadership communication and executive presence; able to operate effectively with both field personnel and executive leadership
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships at the executive level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure during incidents and emergencies
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Security Management Business Administration Criminal Justice Homeland Security or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • Prior military or law enforcement leadership background
  • Industry certifications such as CPP PSP or PCI
  • Experience scaling operations within a growing security services firm
  • Experience supporting government critical infrastructure or enterprise clients
