A highly respected and rapidly growing manufacturer is seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Engineering & Facilities to lead enterprise-wide engineering strategy across multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities. As the Senior Director of Engineering & Facilities youll serve as a key member of the leadership team responsible for defining and executing the companys long-term engineering strategy.

Youll lead initiatives involving:

Multi-million-dollar capital investment programs

Greenfield and brownfield facility expansions

New manufacturing facility start-ups and commissioning

Enterprise-wide engineering standards and best practices

Automation controls robotics and digital manufacturing technologies

Infrastructure modernization and utility optimization

Continuous improvement reliability and operational excellence

Working closely with Operations Maintenance Quality Supply Chain Finance Procurement and Executive Leadership youll help create the next generation of manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will typically possess:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Chemical Industrial or similar)

Advanced degree is a plus

15 years of progressive engineering leadership within food beverage consumer products pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environments

Multi-site manufacturing leadership experience

Experience with automation PLC/SCADA systems utilities facilities engineering and capital project governance

Professional Engineer (PE) and/or PMP certification is considered a plus

Approximately 3050% travel to manufacturing facilities and project sites should be expected including occasional extended travel during major facility start-ups or capital projects.

Required Skills:

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing Operations Management Business or a related discipline preferred. Significant manufacturing leadership experience with progressive responsibility including experience leading an entire manufacturing facility. Demonstrated success improving operational performance productivity quality and profitability. Strong leadership coaching and team-building skills. Experience managing budgets financial performance and capital projects. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lead change and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
