General Summary:
The Sr. Director ICX Platforms leads the enterprise platform stack and activation backbone that powers Vertexs integrated commercial customer experience. This role is accountable for the strategy roadmap operations reliability performance cost and governance of platforms that enable customer engagement across channels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the blueprint product strategy roadmap and activation direction for the enterprise ICX platform stack including commercial websites customer data marketing automation content capabilities and consent management.
- Ensure platforms are secure scalable reliable performant cost-effective and ready to deliver in-market customer experiences.
- Lead the integration deployment and reliable operation of agentic AI and AI/ML capabilities across commercial channels.
- Own platform operations release quality uptime monitoring service standards incident response and continuous improvement.
- Lead develop and retain a high-performing team of 9 direct reports.
- Own the vendor and agency operating model including partner performance commercial outcomes consolidation across web marketing automation and content and the strategic transition of work in-house as agentic capabilities mature.
- Partner with ICX Data Analytics & AI to enable closed-loop measurement optimization and performance management across platforms and channels.
- Ensure privacy consent and compliant data practices are embedded across all platforms and customer interactions.
- Manage platform investments operating budgets and total cost of ownership while balancing speed quality risk and long-term scalability.
- Partner across Commercial Digital IT Legal Privacy and other enterprise functions to align platform priorities with business and customer needs.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Significant leadership experience in digital platforms customer experience marketing technology product management commercial operations or a related field.
- Demonstrated success leading complex enterprise platform ecosystems including web customer data marketing automation content and consent technologies.
- Experience operationalizing AI/ML and/or agentic capabilities in commercial or customer-facing environments.
- Strong record of managing vendors agencies technology partners budgets and service-level performance.
- Deep understanding of platform operations release management reliability privacy consent data governance and performance optimization.
- Proven people leadership and ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Experience in biopharma healthcare or another highly regulated industry preferred.

Pay Range:
$212000 - $318000Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors including skills competencies experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
