Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a Sr. Direct Support Professionalwho will provides quality living support (physical social behavioral career and personal) to persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) living and working in the community.

The work schedule: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Saturday and Sunday 3 PM - 11 PM

Gallagher Services supportsadults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living the life of their are supported in living working and being involved in the community as independently as possible. The Cornerstones of the program are Person-Centered Planning and the mission and values of Catholic Charities.

Youllspend your days supporting caretoa group of people who enjoy:â

• Watching movies
• Going Bowlingââ
• Going to visit family

This group is looking for someone who is kind dependable a good communicator and most of allsomeone who enjoys spending time with them. Ifyouresomeone who takes joy in building real connections and being present in the momentyoullthrive here.â

HowYoullSupport:â

• Help by cooking cleaning laundry
• Support community engagement whetherthatsa walk in the park or attending alocal events.â
• Advocate for each persons rights and help build their confidence and sense of selfâ
• Keep clear respectful records to ensure continuity of care and supportâ

MinimumRequirements:â

• Mustbe at least 21 years oldâ
• Valid drivers license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 pointsâ
• Comfortable driving agency vehicles andassistingpeople who use wheelchairsâ
• Able tolift upto 75 pounds stand forlong periods and provide physicalassistancewhen neededâ
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)â
