Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Digital Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning execution and delivery of complex digital initiatives across web mobile app DDM and internal communication channels. This role ensures projects are completed on time within scope and aligned with strategic business goals by effectively managing timelines resources risks and stakeholder communications.
As a key leader in digital execution the Senior Digital Project Manager will work within cross-functional scrum teams to drive collaboration optimize workflows and proactively identify and mitigate project risks. They will serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders ensuring seamless coordination between marketing creative development and business teams.
In addition to overseeing individual projects this role will contribute to process improvements project governance and best practices leveraging data-driven insights and reporting tools such as WorkFront to enhance efficiency and project transparency. The ideal candidate is a highly organized strategic thinker with a strong background in digital project management Agile methodologies and stakeholder leadership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Project & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for stakeholders ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project intake and prioritization ensuring proper scoping and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including timelines deliverables and approval workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (design content development) to coordinate feedback approvals and revisions.
- Identify and escalate potential roadblocks that could impact delivery timelines.
Tactical Execution & Timeline Management
- Own and maintain project timelines ensuring that all deliverables are completed on schedule using project management tools (e.g. Workfront Asana Trello).
- Facilitate kick-off meetings and ensure all necessary stakeholders are aligned on objectives and expectations.
- Track and mitigate scope creep ensuring project plans remain realistic and achievable.
- Oversee the production of digital assets for both campaign and non-campaign initiatives working closely with design content and development teams.
- Monitor project health proactively identifying bottlenecks and risk factors that could impact deadlines.
Team Supervision & Process Improvement
- Supervise 1-2 Project Managers or Interns providing coaching task prioritization and performance feedback.
- Assist in refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for improved team efficiency.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously optimize workflows.
Resource & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Support resource planning and allocation ensuring the right teams are working on the right tasks at the right time.
- Partner with senior leadership to align project timelines with broader business goals.
- Actively engage in cross-functional meetings to ensure clear expectations and project feasibility.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Required: Bachelors degree from accredited college or university required.
- Preferred: Marketing Communications Marketing/Mass Communications Advertising Project Management Business Organizational Management Graphic Design Art Design.
- MBA preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of experience in digital marketing project management or production workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning.
- Basic knowledge of compliance processes and legal review procedures for digital content.

- Tactical Execution & Timeline Management: Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery.
- Leadership & Supervision: Experience in mentoring or managing junior team members.
- Attention to Detail & Organization: Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate project records.
- Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to facilitate meetings coordinate across teams and ensure stakeholder alignment.
