M9 Solutions is seeking aSenior Digital Hardware Designerto work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located inScottsdale AZ. An active Secret clearanceis required.
Responsibilities
- Research design develop and test electronic equipment and systems including radar detection/communications equipment and systems circuitry components computers and Digital Signal Processing equipment.
- Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance the clients business performance.
- Deliver innovative flexible integrated solutions to meet the clients changing business needs.
- Support and engage in programs projects and practices behind the clients culture and strategy and comply with all policies and procedures.
- Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure the clients services are consistent with and/or superior to industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and/or direction to lower-level designers.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science Engineering Technology or Mathematics field and 8 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Experience with schematic capture
- Extensive experience designing multi-layer Printer Circuit Boards with controlled impedance layers and blind micro-vias.
- Able to analyze and test for signal integrity crosstalk etc.
- Familiar with several families of microprocessors microcontrollers FPGAs and System-on-Chips.
- Demonstrate initiative on assignments; exercise strong independent judgment.
- Able to technically lead/mentor less senior engineers.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with Mentor design tools.
- High Reliability or Space experience.
- Experience with Worst Case Analysis Stress Analysis.

- M9 Solutions pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include but are not limited to responsibilities of the position education experience knowledge skills abilities as well as internal equity location alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.

$130000 - $150000 USD
