MainSpring Inc. is looking for an experienced innovative and forward-thinking Senior FileMaker Developer. The Senior Developer is responsible for planning designing developing and implementing creative application solutions for a variety of government and commercial U.S. and international clients. Adherence to proven processes and standards outlined in the MainSpring Agile Development process is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design develop andmaintain custom FileMaker applications across desktop web and mobile andmaintain scripts calculations layouts custom functions and automation workflows.
• Architect and implement integrations with third-party applications and services usingAPIs and other external connectivity.
• Administer monitor andoptimize FileMaker Server environments to ensure performance reliability security and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complexapplication performance data integrity and server-related issues.
• Manage projects and enhancement requests including effort estimation scope definition risk analysis and timeline with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Implement data migration synchronization and integration strategies between FileMaker and external systems.
• Create andmaintain technical documentation system architecture diagrams and deployment procedures.
• Participate in application lifecycle management including testing deployment upgrades and support.
• Ensure project development/featuresremain in scope and proactively communicate with the team and the client throughout the course of projects.
• Provide budget and schedule updates to the Team Lead.
• Meet/exceed billableutilization targets.
• Maintain proficiency and certification in development platforms asrequired.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a related fieldpreferred;orcomparable experienceisrequired.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Extended experience withthecompleteClarisFileMaker Platform and completion of all currently availableClaris certifications.
• Ability to effectivelyleverage AI-powered development tools and coding assistants as a force multiplier for application design code generation troubleshooting documentation testing and productivity enhancement whilemaintaining strong engineering judgment code qualitysecurity and solution ownership.
• Strong experience with API integration including:
  • RESTOData andGraphQL APIs
  • JSONXML and other data structures
  • OAuth and token-based authentication
• Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills within the FileMaker platform including experiencediagnosing and resolving:
  • Script performance issues
  • Data integrity concerns
  • Server performance bottlenecks
  • Authentication and connectivity issues
  • Complex application defects
• At least onetandem partnerdevelopmentskill such asSharepoint Salesforce PHPVueJS AppleScriptorSQLadministration.
• Mid-levelskills in JavaScript HTML and CSS especially in relation to FileMakerwebviewer interfaces and Klai (FMBetterForms).
• Experiencewith or understandingof the AgileLifecyclerequired. Demonstratea strong history of success with developing and managing development projects.
• Advanced knowledge of relational database and application design relating to FileMaker; Including scripting data parsing and the ability to search technical documentation.
• Demonstratethe ability to work as part of an application development team; create task liststimelines anddeliverables; work to meet project schedulesdetermined by others.
