The Sr. Designer on the Interactive Design u0026 Delivery team plays a central role in shaping thoughtful human-centered customer experiences across channel partner websites direct marketing and digital initiatives both online and in-channel stores. This role blends visual design execution and craft with user experience (UX) thinking bridging content strategy and design execution to create experiences that are intuitive elegant and on-brand for Apple and key will collaborate closely with designers writers art directors creative directors and cross-functional technical partners bringing a strong customer journey and experience perspective to every stage of the design process from early concept exploration through final visual layout and delivery. They will work integrally with their visual design and copywriting peers across the Design u0026 Delivery team based in Austin Texas.
Create designs that align to project goals and overall creative direction templates and standards. nCollaborate with Art Directors Associate Creative Directors and the larger project team to explore concepts and iterate on design layouts. nAnticipate and solve for potential design challenges as well as existing for creative reviews by optimizing files and presentation materials. nGuide ideas from concept to final execution ensuring they meet both creative and business objectives within the project technical disciplines to ensure designs work within limitations and prepare files with all necessary information to support design intent. nEnsure final deliverables like layout images and typography are flawless. nCollaborate with vendor partner teams to provide feedback that refines the word and keeps design within standards and seek opportunities to refine design thinking and improve workflows.
7 years of experience specializing in visual design for the web mobile and/or iOS app design. nProfessional experience in a marketing e-commerce or a digital product online portfolio of original work demonstrating user-centered design and a strong visual proficiency in the formal elements of design including typography layout balance proportion rhythm emphasis and degree or equivalent work experience
Strong understanding of web and app development principles including HTML CSS and iOS understanding of applying a brand voice aesthetic and in tools like Figma Sketch and Adobe with experience in organizing files for design iteration setting up files for web and app production and adhering to graphic design standards. AI-powered workflows a to thrive in a challenging fast-paced creative workplace delivering high-quality design presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both creative and technical ability to utilize campaign identities or style guides to scale across interactive touch-points as well as to generate novel concepts and extensions based on them.
