We are searching forSenior Day Program Counselorsto join our agency.
Senior Day Program Counselors will provide full support to individuals including; dining lifting direct personal care development and implementation of activities supervision/oversight of individuals to ensure that they are carrying out their goals.
Responsibilities:
Senior Day Program Counselors will provide full support to individuals including; dining lifting direct personal care development and implementation of activities supervision/oversight of individuals to ensure that they are carrying out their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurately documenting and providing services to the individuals they support
- Promote independence and community inclusion
- Responsible for the implementation of the day program plans opportunities for self-determination independent activity increased productivity and greater community inclusion
- May function as a Team Leader for each individual assigned
- May be responsible for the direction of all staff assigned to that program area
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- A minimum of one (1) year of job related experience is required specifically working with people with developmental disabilities or related field
- A minimum of an Associates degree or two completed years of college may be considered in lieu of the 1 year experience
