SunSoftOnline is hiring a Senior Database Administrator for the Arizona Department of Educations IT Division. This is a 4-month contract-to-hire position converting to permanent state employment.

Important: all candidates must be eligible to convert to a full-time state employee. The State cannot sponsor visas. U.S. citizens and green card holders only. W2 only no C2C. You must currently live in the Phoenix metro area with your city on your resume and be available for an in-person interview in Phoenix within one week of the close.

The work: administering and supporting the agencys database environment. Managing SQL Server databases and Azure database virtual machines. Designing and writing stored procedures and developing and optimizing complex SQL queries. Building and maintaining disaster recovery capability. Implementing version control and DevOps practices for database objects. Designing and implementing ETL processes for data integration and transformation. Supporting Power BI reporting against agency data.

Required:

• SQL Server

Preferred: designing and writing stored procedures designing and implementing ETL processes developing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures PowerShell.
