Envision Innovative Solutions is seeking a motivated career-oriented and customer-focused Senior Database Administratorto join our team inAnnapolis Junction Maryland. This onsite position is responsible for the administration optimization security and availability of enterprise database environments supporting mission-critical systems..
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain the integrity security availability and performance of multiple databases including disaster recovery monitoring tuning and index/partition optimization.
Administer Oracle and cloud native database technologies (AWS RDS Aurora DynamoDB) including installation configuration OEM management and lifecycle maintenance.
Develop maintain and optimize PL/SQL procedures queries schema changes and data structures to support efficient storage retrieval and application performance.
Implement and enforce database security policies user account management data at rest/in transit protections and Oracle Label Security (OLS).
Support database migration efforts including transitioning Oracle on prem environments to AWS RDS and design solutions for resilience and high availability.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks locking issues and system anomalies while directing performance optimization and structural redesign efforts.
Evaluate DBMS products recommend solutions and guide the adoption of emerging database tools technologies and best practices.
Required Skills:
Ten (10) years experience as a DBA
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Current/Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

The projected compensation range for this position is $250000.00-$220000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including but not limited to Contract Wage Determination relevant work experience skills and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
