Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience building and supporting modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud-based data engineering data lakes ETL/ELT development and Lakehouse architectures. This is a fast-paced role requiring someone who can quickly contribute with minimal ramp-up time.

Required Skills

• 7 years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong SQL and Python skills (PySpark preferred)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred AWS or GCP acceptable)
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) or similar data lake technologies
• Knowledge of Parquet file format and Lakehouse concepts (Delta Lake and/or Iceberg)
• Hands-on experience with dbt (Core or Cloud)
• Experience using GitHub pull requests and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Snowflake
• Databricks
• Microsoft Fabric
• Strong understanding of data quality validation and production support

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines
• Build data ingestion transformation and analytics-ready datasets
• Develop data models and transformations using SQL and Python
• Implement automated data quality checks and monitoring
• Follow Git-based development and CI/CD best practices
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements
• Ensure data solutions are secure scalable reliable and well-documented

Preferred Skills

• Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric Data Factory
• Databricks or Fabric Notebooks
• Airflow Dagster or other orchestration tools
• Healthcare or Health Insurance domain experience (Claims Provider Clinical Payer)
