Senior Data Engineer
**Job Title: Senior Data Engineer** **Location:** 100% Onsite in Charlotte NC (Open to candidates in the Southeast looking to relocate) **Terms:** 6-month contract to hire **Role Overview:** We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer transitioning into Data Architecture to join our data transformational journey. This unique role combines hands-on data engineering (70%) with architectural design and governance (30%) ideal for a technical expert ready to shape our enterprise data strategy while remaining deeply involved in implementation. **Responsibilities:** - Work directly with line of business leaders and technical users to architect and build our cloud data warehouse using Data Vault 2.0 modeling and dbt. - Mentor junior engineers on a lean team while personally implementing the solutions you design. - Design and implement end-to-end solutions within data platform architecture. **Top Skills :** - 6 years of data engineering experience with cloud data platforms and building data warehouses and data marts. - 4 years of experience with Snowflake. - 4 years of experience with dbt (cloud and/or core). - 3 recent years of experience with AWS. - Hands-on experience using Data Vault 2.0 modeling methodology (or similar methodology). - Strong expertise in Python development. - Strong experience with CI/CD & DataOps (pipeline automation deployment). **Submittal :** - Must be a US Citizen. - All candidates must have a LinkedIn profile.
