Lead Cyber Underwriter / Senior Cyber Underwriter

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cyber Underwriter or Senior Cyber Underwriter to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume underwriting environment possess exceptional broker relationship-building skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving profitability and growth objectives.

• Base Salary: $126000 $184000 (flexibility for exceptional candidates; candidates up to $195000 will be considered)
• Bonus: Approximately 15% target bonus discretionary based on company and individual performance

• Underwrite and manage Cyber business within the Midwest territory focusing on small and middle-market accounts.
• Handle both new business and renewal underwriting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers particularly in the Chicago area.
• Market carrier capabilities to brokers and actively participate in business development activities.
• Manage a high-volume underwriting environment while maintaining profitability and achieving growth objectives.
• Collaborate with underwriting leadership and teammates across multiple offices.
• Travel approximately 25% for broker meetings and business development.

• Minimum of 3 years of Cyber underwriting experience.
• Proven ability to handle both new business and renewals.
• Strong book management and underwriting discipline in a high-volume environment.
• Experience working with middle-market accounts typically ranging from $150M to $1B in revenue.
• Excellent broker marketing and relationship-building skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Tech E&O experience is a plus but not required.
• Established broker relationships in the Midwest particularly in Chicago are highly preferred.
