PowerFlex is a top 5 provider in each of Commercial Solar Storage and EV Charging in the US.

Location
This role is open to be a hybrid role out of one of our offices (Mountain View CASan Diego CA Los Angeles CA. or New York NY) or a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

• 45% -Review anddraftvariouscontractsrelated toPowerFlexsbusiness throughout the United contractsfor the businessincludeturnkey installation agreements for solar storage or EV chargerspower purchaseorenergy services agreementsandoperationservices agreements. Other contract types includesoftware license agreements vendor agreementssubcontractshardware saleor purchaseagreementssiteleasesfor installation (typically rooftop or parking lots)andproject sale agreements.
• 20% -Interact with clients and counterparties includingleading negotiations and communications.
• 20%-Provide legal support andserve as the main point of contactforinternal business and management teams for a variety of communications around contracting and legalmatters;manage work streamsfor inter-company coordination;interpret and apply legal requirements to the businessin particular lawsandregulations relating toPowerFlexsactivities; advise on contract strategies and provide risk andbusiness arguments for specific dealsandcommercialissues.
• 10%- Develop and refinelegalsystemscontract templatesprocesses and playbooks to continuously improve the health of the companys legal and compliance functions;manage workflow andprovide reporting on all relevant activities; keep abreast of the companys vision mission and servicesandcompetitive landscapeandbe able to articulate the companysserviceofferings effectively.
• 5% -Otherduties asassigned.

Qualifications
Education/Experience

• JurisDoctordegree and member of a State Bar Association(preferably California)
• 3-10years of legal experience in relevant fields;preferablyinvolving some familiarity with any of:renewable energydistributed generationtechnologyconstructionprojectfinance orenergy

• Excellent listening and communication skills both written and oral including the ability to work with cross-functional business teamsand lead the draftingnegotiationand implementation ofcontracts
• Passionateabout businessresultswithastrongsenseof accountabilitymetricsandownership
• Attentionto detailparticularlywhileoverseeingthefull contract cycle
• Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven team-oriented environment
• Self-starter who can complete tasks and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Advancedskills inWordPowerPointandotherOfficeproducts
• Proactive approach to organization

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $185760 - $227040 annually. This position is eligible for PowerFlexs comprehensive Health and Welfare plans including but not limited to medical dental vision 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. The total compensation for this position may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation as applicable). PowerFlexs compensation packages carefully consider a candidates qualifications experiences and education in relation to the position.

Physical Requirements
Remaining in a seated position. Long hours on computer keyboard. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.

Working Conditions
Approximately 90% of the time is spent in the office environment utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word MS Excel Outlook Access PowerPoint Publisher and Adobe etc.) telephones and general office equipment. Possibly 10% of the time is spent traveling to conferences or meetings or field traveling to project sites.
