Senior Cost Accountant

Location: Fully Onsite
Experience Required: 3 years (cost accounting experience required)

Seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support inventory valuation cost accounting operations financial reporting and manufacturing analysis in a fast-paced environment. This role partners closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate costing reporting reconciliations and process improvements.

• Maintain and manage standard inventory costing processes
• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to costing and inventory
• Perform variance analysis overhead analysis reconciliations and inventory reporting
• Prepare operational reports including labor purchase price variance and cost analysis
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting and operational issues
• Assist with audit schedules and financial reporting requirements
• Manage annual cost updates and LIFO reserve schedules
• Support transfer pricing activities and finance projects
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• 3 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in cost accounting
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard cost systems
• ERP experience required (JDE preferred)
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills
• Strong communication organizational and problem-solving abilities
