Job Summary:

Performs at a high level of professional competence in general or cost accounting work including recording classifying examining and analyzing data and records of financial transactions utilizing the principles of accounting. Job responsibilities include a variety of financial duties that support data collection analyses report(s) development periodic audits and monthly financial closing process. Responsible for monthly financial statements produced in accordance with GAAP for a group of operational entities. Prepares special project analysis including summary reporting. Achieve subject matter expert status when the need arises. Conduct research and resolve business unit inquiries for assigned functional areas. Perform variance analysis and research and communicate explanations. Provides timely accurate financial information supporting Senior Financial Leadership as necessary. May oversee projects and coordinate activities of less senior finance colleagues. Partners with other departments to promote operational efficiency and to maximize customer service.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors degree with an emphasis on Accounting or Finance.

Years of Experience: 5 years accounting experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Masters degree

Skills: Experience with Infor or similar Operating System.

License: Certified Public Accountant
