Senior Corporate Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support accounting operations across multiple legal entities including international subsidiaries. This role will play a key part in financial reporting budgeting reconciliations process improvement and investment-related accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting foundation experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to partner with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Maintain and analyze budgets and prepare periodic budget-to-actual reporting.
Update and maintain records related to investment portfolios and entity activity.
Prepare and review capital activity including contributions and distributions.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and financial analyses.
Support and maintain strong internal controls and compliance processes.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures reporting and operational efficiency.
Assist with the onboarding of new investments acquisitions or financing activities from an accounting perspective.
Conduct technical accounting research and help ensure adherence to current accounting standards.
Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews including managing deliverables and responding to auditor inquiries.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Review financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field required.
Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
Public accounting experience strongly preferred (Big 4 or large regional firms highly regarded).
Experience in a client-facing environment is a plus.
Investment accounting private equity asset management valuation or related financial services experience highly desirable.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with NetSuite MRI or comparable ERP/accounting systems preferred.
CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA licensure with anticipated completion within one year preferred.
CFA or MBA is a plus.
