The Senior Coordinator in the NFLs accounts payable shared service team will support the accuracy and integrity of financial operations by overseeing the processing of new suppliers and participating in the oversight of vendor invoices and payments within established policies and timelines. This role ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements maintains accurate records and partners closely with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies. The position contributes to timely month-end and year-end closing activities and alignment of accounts payable processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
Process and review the new supplier onboarding process.
Provide oversight ofvendor invoices ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
Monitor payment deadlines and ensuretimelyprocessing to avoid late fees.
Reconcile statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies working closely with vendors and cross-functional teams.
Maintainaccurateaccountspayable records and support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure financial integrity.
Adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements by documenting procedures andassistingwith audits.
Partner with Global Accountingand Global Procurementto align andoptimizeprocesses ensuring consistent service quality andtimelyissue resolution.
Resolve questions and troubleshoot systematic issues
Oversee and report on KPIs of AP team while streamlining global processes
Assist in the new vendor process PO creation/questions and knowledge of various NFL systems and budgeting tools
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree
Minimum 3 years of direct customer service experience
Minimum 3 years of accounts payable and/or finance experience preferred
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Strong Excel skills required
Experience using ERP tool

Proven ability to multi-task be pro-active and detail oriented
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week in the office. No overtime or weekends are required.
Salary / Pay Range
