Job Summary

Responsible for identifyingremediatingand monitoringvendorrisks associated with people process and technology-related services provided to Idaho Central Credit Union by facilitating contract reviewsand negotiations to achieve overall cost reductions manage vendor management program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise assigned staff; assigning and directing work; orienting new employees; overseeing or conducting training; coaching; completing team responsibility for evaluating and appraisingwork.
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems; taking disciplinary action; and ensuring quality of work.
  • Drive continuous evolution of all Third-PartyRiskManagementprocesses.
  • Play a Second Line-of-Defense role with respect to third party activities (Onboarding Due Diligence Monitoring Termination Plans Off-boarding)
  • Maintain Third Party Risk Management document repository with up-to-date vendor information including contracts agreements assessments insurance scorecards due diligence documentation vendor policies and procedures etc.
  • Work with respective line of business to execute the third-party risk program and maintain the third-party risk repository. Document gathering data entry creating analysis and risk related documents.
  • Support the standardization of the third-party management framework. Recommend policy and procedure changes to improve ongoing controls and process.
  • Generate and review third party reports to ensure adherence to contractual client and regulatory guidelines. Review vendor information for completeness prevent duplication and ensure on-going data integrity of information
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to strategically develop implement and optimize vendor management processes tools and policies to achieve performance objectives.
  • Support the execution of standard operating procedures to ensure due diligence activities are performed in a risk-based efficient appropriate and effective manner. Assist with exit strategies and contingency plans for third parties.
  • Responsible for the development and oversight of the vendor management program and related policies and procedures. Includes responsibility to evolve the program to ensure compliance and maximum effectiveness for the Credit Union.
  • Overseeand administerpurchasing functionof Credit Union along with all related policies and procedures.
  • Analyze vendor bid proposalsand negotiate pricingwhile ensuring we are achieving the best overall value.
  • Proactively direct all aspect of spend through vendor management negotiations and contract management.
  • Provideexpertiseon information risks for new vendor products and services under considerationwhilereducing risk and fostering a strong risk management culturethroughout the Credit Union.
  • Recommend cost savings initiatives to reduce overall spend.
  • Analyze and review contracts for risk and proper terms and conditions while understanding and upholding applicable regulations.
  • Continuously improve service levels to both members and team members
  • Manageteam member suggestions as related to the job.
  • Additional projects as assigned.
  • Promote and market the Credit Union.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.3-5 years purchasing experience to work well with other team members and departments. Ability toalways maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.

Preferred skills:

Excellent written and verbal skills. Experience with contractreview andnegotiations and vendor relations. PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

High level of professionalism. A demonstrated ability to work well with others. A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Dedicated to serving our internal members and holding team accountable for the Credit Unions service standard. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork filing stapling sorting collating typing counting cash etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper cash drawers marketing material etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists hands and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator computer telephone copy machine fax machine etc.).
