About the Role
SS&C Advent delivers financial technology solutions and services to financial services clients in the asset management wealth management and alternative investment space around the globe.
The Consultant will support SS&C Advents Geneva enterprise portfolio accounting application. Blending financial industry knowledge with technology skills while implementing and upgrading Geneva. This role will gain exposuretomultiple client environments. Upgradesprovidea unique opportunity tolearnthe latest and greatest features bundled with Geneva releases.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirementsdesignand configure products automate optimized workflow
- Manage time to deliver critical components and maximize client satisfaction
- Prepare system and data transition plans and complete migration involving historical data take-on.
- Execute implementation taskscollaborateand communicate project status with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead hands-on training sessions troubleshoot issues technicalsupport during go-live events.
- Develop custom reports conversion tools and system integration mappings
- Deliver high-quality consulting services as part of implementation projects build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to drive client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Needto work independently and in a team with flexibility to travel and adapt to changing work hours.
Required Experience
- Bachelors or Mastersdegree in a related field is.
- 9years of client experience in the financial services industry is.
- Working knowledge of relational databases Windows serverenvironmentsand experience learning new technical tools.
- SQL skills - comfortable composing complex queries to pull data and running statements tomodifyDB tables when necessary
- Familiarity with the general ledger is.
- Working knowledge of Advents Geneva orexpertisewith similar applications is.
- Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently manage time to maximize productivity.
- Ability to learn quickly and independently by gathering information from a variety of sources toacquirethe knowledge needed to complete assigned tasks.
- Strong communicationskills.The ability to presentinformation toboth technical and nontechnical individuals.
- Ability to be self-directed and work independently.
- Ability to travel up to 50% oftime.
What Sets You Apart(preferred qualifications)
- Linux experience and basic maintenance of Geneva
- Understanding and editing Geneva RSL is a big plus
- 7 years of programming experience (C# XML DOM OOP SQL SSRS).

New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 145000 USD to 170000 USD. Other States expected base salary for the position is between $140000 USD to $170000 USD.In addition employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards such as restricted stock units or stock options based upon individual and business performance at the companys discretion.Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
