We are seeking a Sr Consultant professional experienced with tax engines such as Avalara ONESOURCE or Sovos. Our ideal candidate should be able to guide clients through implementing migrating and maintaining tax configurations within one or more of these platforms. That requires both technical and functional tax-engine experience along with a demonstrated ability to manage client engagements.
This is a fully remote role with up 25% travel.

- Review work products for accuracy completeness and quality.
- Support cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and global counterparts.

Client:
- Interface directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs operational challenges and system requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Provide proactive status updates and maintain effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Assist with data gathering extraction reconciliation and analysis.
- Develop and deliver high-quality client documentation reports and presentations.
- Support resolution of client inquiries technical questions and service-related matters.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Accounting Finance Information Systems Technology or related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in consulting business analysis technology implementation process improvement or related professional services environment.
- Must hold experience with tax engines such as Avalara ONESOURCE or Sovos. Our ideal candidate should be able to guide clients through implementing migrating and maintaining tax configurations within one or more of these platforms. That requires both technical and functional tax-engine experience along with a demonstrated ability to manage client engagements.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing complex business processes and translating requirements into actionable solutions.
- Experience supporting project delivery including documentation testing and stakeholder coordination.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred including data analysis pivot tables and reporting.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Planner Asana ClickUp or similar).
- Familiarity with ERP CRM or other enterprise business systems.
- Experience with data analytics automation or reporting tools preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business and technology platforms.
Work Environment:
- Standard indoor working environment.

- Position requires regular interaction with employeesat all levels of the Firmand vendors both in-person and via e-mail andtelephone.

Compensation Pay Transparency:
- For certain California based roles the base salary hiring range for this position is $86500.00 - $114125.00
For other California based roles the base salary hiring range for this position is $79500.00 - $104775.00
- For Colorado based roles the base salary hiring range for this position is $75500.00 - $99825.00
- For Illinois based roles the base salary hiring range for this position is $79500.00 - $104775.00
- For other Illinois based roles the base salary hiring range for this position is $75500.00 - $99825.00
- For Maryland based roles the base salary hiring range for this position is $75500.00 - $99825.00
