Senior Construction Defect Attorney

The Senior Construction Litigation Attorney will handle a manageable caseload involving construction-related litigation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both legal proficiency and strategic insight while also being capable of independently managing cases through trial.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of construction litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial.
• Handle all aspects of litigation including pleadings discovery motion practice depositions and court appearances.
• Collaborate with partners and team members on case strategy and complex legal issues.
• Communicate regularly with clients providing timely updates legal analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines procedural requirements and firm standards.
• Utilize legal research tools and case management systems effectively.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of Florida
• 5 years of defense litigationrequired
• Construction defect practice experience strongly preferred
• Experience in construction law or related practice areas preferred
• Drafting discovery and pretrial motions required
• 2^ndchair trial experience a plus
• Superior analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
