Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Communications Lead to help prepare for monitor and manage a wide variety of issues including those that pose reputational risk and proactively promote and amplify the companys story to key stakeholders. The right candidate will have hands-on experience managing sensitive issues for a publicly-traded company including working directly with the press and a broad understanding of the business public policy and media landscapes today.
This individual will support Issues Management and Corporate Reputation efforts across Corporate Responsibility and Regional business segments partnering with key stakeholders to proactively address risks manage communications and strengthen the organizations reputation.PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. - Establishes the strategic direction for communications while providing leadership and guidance on key initiatives content/channels and the prioritization of work on the team.
- Effectively partners with business leadership teams to develop communication strategies; plans researches and develops content for complex communications initiatives.
- Identifies issues and opportunities serves as trusted advisor to organization on all aspects of communication and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment clarity and accuracy of message.
- Leverages data-driven insights to provide strategic guidance to business leadership influencing outcomes and decisions to best support the business strategy. Ensures data collected is synthesized and leveraged effectively to provide appropriate insights.
- Implements and oversees activities including coordination with legal compliance finance risk and other key partners. Leads partnership with agencies third parties and internal business partners to coordinate development and execution of programs/initiatives.
