Senior Commercial Excellence Manager

Job Summary
As a key member of the overall controls Commercial COE organization you will drive definition adherence & continuous improvement of our tools & processes using Lean principles. Its a fast paced global role that will touch all functions of the organization (finance risk engineering sourcing projects sales finance etc.) in order to streamline commercial operations processes. You will be responsible for coordinating training and communications upskilling the organization and ensuring proper change management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Facilitate PSRs workouts & Kaizen events for the commercial operations team to drive continuous improvement and transformation
- Lead the development of our commercial transformation Lean Roadmap and act as the project manager for the assigned efforts tracking milestones and communicating status to internal teams
- Lead a monthly commercial operations newsletter consolidating organizational updates process chances and improvement across ITO.
- Own the Commercial Operations Homepage (SharePoint Site). Maintain content assign owners identify gaps & needs
- Facilitate handling of Commercial Process NCR/Stop Work and deploy actions to prevent reoccurrence. Work collaboratively with Technical Excellence teams as required.
- Drive continuous improvement in Commercial Offer Templates and maintain the templates in the corresponding systems (ASPOSE Commercial Operations Homepage)
- Lead the development & maintenance for all process documentation (Standard Work Instructions (SWI) QMS documents) ensuring its inclusion in our Quality Management System and partner with the leaders across the commercial & sales teams on its adoption.
- Oversee the timely upkeep improvement & integration of the commercial tools as they support the front end of the business including actions from CSS/PERS integration.
- Own and facilitate the upkeep of the commercial operations staff competency model for Commercial Operations Staff in collaboration with the Pole/Regional Commercial Leaders.
- Facilitate the development & delivery of training for the broader commercial & sales teams considering competency gaps across the organization.
- Own the Daily Management dashboards and Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR) rhythms for Commercial Operations organization. Collaborate with Sales Operations for consolidated ITO KPI view.
- Be an active member in creating the Hoshin plan for the Commercial Operations organization driving KPIs and metrics to support that plan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience including sales & commercial operations project management operations governance and process improvement

- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally to support business engagements (internal & customer focused)
- Comprehensive knowledge of SCS processes tools and organizational structure with a working knowledge of controls
- Ability to lead horizontally through influence in a diverse matrixed global organization; resolving complex issues across functional areas and business lines
- Strong skills in process analysis problem solving and strategy development
- Ability to prioritize work with autonomy and drive results under pressure
- Highly organized with data tools & communications using a systematic approach to problem solving
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (e.g. ability to effectively communicate with all levels of GE and stakeholders/customers both written & oral.)
- Lean experience
- Business acumen and judgement to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects product lines markets sales processes campaigns or customers with ability to offer new solutions to problems potentially outside of traditional thinking
- Highly motivated energetic confident self-starting personal characteristics
- Proven ability totranslate business vision into tactical execution plans and deliver throughambiguitywith cross-functional and cross-business engagement
- Experience with Commercial IT Systems / Data Governance audits
