Senior Cloud Engineer

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.

Entarian is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the ALTESS commercial cloud services infrastructure. ALTESS is a managed service provider for Army and DoD IT systems and plans to offer managed cloud services in public clouds MS Azure AWS and Private Clouds.

Salary range: $100000.00 - $140000.00

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• CompTIA Security (or equivalent IA cert) AND computing environment certification (i.e. MCSD Azure Solutions Architect AWS Certified Solutions Architect etc.)
• Minimum 5 years experience in Computer Science or IT
• Mid to senior level Cloud Engineer experience that includes:
  • Strong experience with IPSEC/VPN and other secure transport technologies as well as Border Gateway Protocol
  • Proven experience migrating on-premises applications to the cloud
  • Understanding of network storage server and application technologies
  • Strong knowledge of automation concepts tools and scripting languages (Ansible Terraform Python Powershell Bash Puppet Chef etc.)
  • Working knowledge of code repositories tools such as Git
  • Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline experience such as Jenkins Travis CI or AWS CodeDeploy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects

• Senior IT experience in networking or equivalent experience
• Experience automating routine administrative tasks
