Senior Cloud Engineer

How Youll Make an Impact

As a Senior Cloud Engineer youll be at the forefront of our innovation driving the design implementation automation and operation of modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms that support our Next-Generation Infrastructure strategy. Youll be responsible for how cloud platforms are built automated governed and operated while still remaining this role you will:

• Design implement and operate secure scalable Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud platforms that align with enterprise standards.

• Own cloud subscription design identity integration networking patterns platform services governance controls and cost management practices.

• Translate architectural standards into repeatable platform implementations and lead adoption of automation-first and Infrastructure as Code approaches.

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Azure Resource Manager Bicep Terraform and PowerShell.

• Improve platform reliability observability recoverability and operational efficiency through monitoring alerting telemetry and AIOps capabilities.

• Support cloud modernization initiatives including workload migrations application refactoring and platform standardization efforts.

• Mentor Cloud Engineers and Associate Engineers serve as an escalation point for complex issues and contribute to engineering standards and reference architectures.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant information technology experience including Cloud Engineering experience.

• Demonstrated progression from execution-focused engineering responsibilities to design-oriented technical leadership.

• Experience operating cloud platforms in enterprise production environments.

• Strong knowledge of hybrid identity networking security fundamentals and cloud governance principles.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code automation tooling and cloud platform engineering best practices.

• Understanding of datacenter technologies including virtualization storage and networking.

• Strong communication collaboration problem-solving and technical mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward

• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification.

• Experience leading cloud modernization migration or workload transformation initiatives.

• Experience developing reusable automation frameworks and engineering standards consumed across infrastructure teams.

• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence Operations (AIOps) advanced observability platforms and emerging cloud automation technologies.
