Position Overview
We are seeking aSenior Cloud Engineer / Azure SMEto serve as a subject matter expert supporting a U.S. Army enterprise analytics and cloud initiative. This is a senior-level technical role requiring deep expertise inMicrosoft Azure cloud engineering architecture data platforms integration automation and security.
The successful candidate will serve as a technical authority for Azure cloud solutions providing expert guidance on complex engineering challenges architectural decisions system integration cloud security and the design and operation of scalable enterprise cloud environments.

Required Qualifications
- 12 years of professional cloud engineering experience.
- Demonstratedsubject matter expertise in Microsoft Azurecloud environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with:
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure API Management
- Cloud automation
- Proven ability todesign architect implement and troubleshootcomplex Azure cloud solutions.
- Strong experience designing and maintainingdata platforms data pipelines and enterprise analytics environments.
- Experience establishing and implementingcloud security controlsin enterprise environments.
- U.S. Army DoD or federal government experience.
- Experience supportingDoD Cloud environments and IL5 or higher.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and serve as a subject matter expert to engineering development and technical teams.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience supportingArmy sustainment logistics or readinessmissions.
- Experience withGCSS-Army G4 NLAC or other Army sustainment systems and data.
- Experience withAzure Government.
- Experience implementing Azure security controls and cloud governance in government environments.
- Experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting and automated cloud deployment.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Security DoD 8570/8140-related certifications or other relevant cybersecurity credentials.
- Serve as theAzure cloud engineering subject matter expert and technical authorityfor the program.
- Provide expert guidance oncloud architecture engineering integration security automation performance and scalability.
- Lead the design implementation and optimization of Azure solutions supporting Army enterprise analytics.
- Design and maintain data integration and processing solutions usingAzure Synapse AnalyticsandAzure Data Factory.
- Implement and manage secure cloud services usingAzure Key VaultandAzure API Management.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex cloud infrastructure data pipeline integration and application connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with architects data scientists analysts developers and Army stakeholders while providing technical guidance to other engineering personnel.
