Role: Senior ClinicianReports to: Senior Clinical Program ManagerProgram: 1307-HSS MHSADepartment: Mental HealthLocation: Kensington Campus -nd St West Lancaster CA 93536Setting: 100% OnsiteSchedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pmStatus:Full-time/Non-Exempt/Non-ManagementBenefits:Medical Vision Dental Life Insurance 403(b) Retirement plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) : 1Summary:As part of a multi-disciplinary team the Senior Clinician will conduct psychotherapy with adult members that have severe and persistent mental illness in the office members homes the field or interim housing facility. The Clinicians primary responsibilities are to engage members and to coordinate mental health and recovery services that will ensure housing stability and community integration. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest quality provision of direct individual and group therapeutic and case management services while fostering teamwork among staff and across departments and Duties and Responsibilities:Provide coordinate and implement mental health and recovery support services with individual individual and group psychotherapy and document services using Department of Mental Health (DMH) and Medi-Cal effective trusting relationships with members with a focus on facilitating independence and maintenance of improved physical and mental with each member to develop their individual service plan; review and update it upon completion of management and other Clinicians with program evaluation and modification for future program improvements and members with becoming involved in daily activities socialization health maintenance sense of community and progress in recovery reflecting of The People Concerns model which emphasizes customer choice harm reduction and psychosocial cooperatively and cohesively with other members of the Kensington Campus including participation in weekly staff meetings group clinical supervision and and maintain a complete accurate and current member file with all funder-required LPS Designated with the Department of Mental Health for Los Angeles to crises assess and initiate 5150 applications as and assist in crisis intervention services which may include after :Masters degree in Social Work Psychology or a related field of study from an accredited registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral have at least 1000 clinical hours accrued towards to learn quickly and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and with minimal valid California Drivers with an acceptable driving record and reliable vehicleAble to transport members in your vehicleOutstanding clinical and strong team-building skillsDetail-oriented with excellent time management organizational written verbal and computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with those living with mental illness and/or substance addictionsExperience completing DMH documentationBilingual SpanishProficient in Microsoft Word Outlook Excel and database applicationsWork Environment:Combination of field and office environmentRegularly required to sit stand bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 occasion walk or drive to different local sitesWill necessitate working in busy and loud environmentsMay be exposed to elements like cold heat dust noise and odorMay need to bend stoop twist and sit throughout the day
