Position: Civil Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70$80/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Construct civil engineering scenarios for large-scale infrastructure design permitting and construction management processes.
• Build tasks in structural design transportation engineering water resources geotechnical engineering and project management.
• Develop scenarios using tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D Revit and HEC-RAS.
• Apply methodologies like structural load analysis and hydraulic modeling to US and International standards.
• Author rubrics that capture authentic civil engineering judgment.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 5 years working as a civil engineer or engineering lead.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure designs and permitting processes.
• Fluency in civil engineering tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of regulatory approvals and public agency oversight.

Preferred

• Recognized professional engineering credential (US PE CEng EUR ING or ).
• Experience in rubric or engineering-training curriculum authorship.
