GCyber is seeking a Senior Citrix Engineer to help support our government customer. The Senior Citrix Engineer designs and deploy robust scalable and highly available Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) solutions both on-premise and in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
As the Senior Citrix Engineer you will:
Serve as the subject matter expert on the entire Citrix stack engineering solutions for Citrix Cloud ADC (NetScaler) StoreFront and Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
Engineer and automate infrastructure management deployment and configuration processes using PowerShell to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
Lead the integration of security controls and compliance standards (DoD/DISA) into the Citrix architecture performing vulnerability assessments and implementing hardening configurations on Citrix ADC.
Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation including system architecture diagrams deployment runbooks and disaster recovery plans.
Proactively monitor analyze and optimize the performance capacity and latency of the Citrix infrastructure performing root cause analysis and engineering long-term solutions for complex issues.
Lead critical infrastructure projects including platform upgrades data center migrations and cloud service integration ensuring minimal disruption and maximum performance.
Design and implement user profile and data management strategies using ProfileUnity Profile Management and User Layering to optimize user experience and logon times.
Familiarity with Citrix and Liquidware integration.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline and 10 years of experience engineering and administering enterprise-scale Citrix environments. (Additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree).
IAT II Certification (e.g. Security CySA GICSP GSEC SSCP)
Demonstrated expertise in scripting and automation with PowerShell.
Deep technical knowledge of Windows Server OS Active Directory and Group Policy management in a virtualized environment.
Proven experience with performance tuning and optimization tools for virtualized environments preferred.
Prior experience engineering solutions for DISA and its mission partners preferred.
