Location

Hybrid opportunity based in Beverly MA. This role requires regular on-site collaboration with some flexibility to work remotely. Candidates open to relocating are encouraged to apply.

Note

Candidates must have a BSBA and 5 years of manufacturing experience with meaningful purchasing procurement sourcing or supplier-management responsibilities. Experience with MRP or ERP systems is important for success in this role.

Job Description

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for electro-mechanical products components and materials
• Manage supplier performance across quality delivery pricing lead times and corrective actions
• Negotiate pricing terms and purchasing agreements to improve total landed cost
• Maintain accurate purchase orders quantities delivery dates and supplier commitments
• Identify shortages and work proactively with suppliers and internal teams to protect production schedules
• Source and qualify alternative suppliers to reduce risk and strengthen supply continuity
• Analyze MRP and ERP requirements to support effective purchasing and inventory decisions
• Partner with engineering quality operations and planning teams to resolve supplier and material issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing cost reduction inventory and supplier performance
• Maintain purchasing practices that support applicable AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality requirements
• Work with domestic and international suppliers and support occasional travel when needed

Qualifications

• BSBA required
• 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Strong purchasing procurement sourcing or supplier-management experience
• Experience using MRP or ERP systems
• Strong negotiation analytical and supplier-management skills
• Experience driving cost savings and process improvements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 preferred
• International sourcing or logistics experience preferred
• CPM or CPIM certification preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics AX experience helpful
