Position Overview

STAFFXPERT is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (Sr. BSA) to support a major digital transformation initiative within the Biotherapeutics and Genetic Medicine organization. The successful candidate will act as a critical liaison between scientific business stakeholders and IT teams ensuring that technology solutions effectively support evolving research biologics and genetic medicine workflows.

This role requires a strong combination of business analysis expertise scientific domain knowledge and systems implementation experience. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting biologics large molecule research genetic medicine genomics RNA/DNA-based programs or related scientific environments within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the organizations foundational Biologics Request Management System.
• Gather analyze document and validate business and workflow requirements from scientific and research teams.
• Create wireframes mockups and process flow diagrams to support solution design and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate with scientists researchers business stakeholders and IT teams to define and implement system enhancements.
• Drive Genedata Biologics platform expansion initiatives including onboarding new users workflows and business processes.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Lead requirements gathering workshops stakeholder interviews and solution design sessions.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization automation and operational efficiency improvements.
• Support system design configuration testing implementation validation and deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation user stories workflows test scripts and training materials.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) defect tracking and issue resolution activities.
• Provide end-user support troubleshooting assistance and training when required.
• Partner with scientific and technical teams to ensure solutions align with regulatory operational and research requirements.

Required Skills (Must Have)

• 10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Experience in Biotechnology Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences environments
• Experience supporting Scientific Research Systems and Applications
• Strong experience with Requirements Gathering Analysis and Documentation
• Experience creating Business Requirements Functional Specifications User Stories Process Flows and Test Plans
• Genedata Biologics experience
• Large Molecule / Biologics Research workflow experience
• Experience with RNA DNA Genomics Genetics or Genetic Medicine domains
• Experience working directly with Scientists Researchers and Scientific Stakeholders
• Wireframing experience (Visio Figma Lucidchart Balsamiq etc.)
• System Testing UAT and IT Implementation experience
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Business Process Analysis
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
