Senior Business Analyst (Management AnalysisBusiness AnalysisUser Support)

Peraton is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals.This role supports a federal financial regulatory agency responsible for maintaining stability and public confidence in the nations financial system. The work involves activities related to the oversight management and resolution of failing or failed financial institutions ensuring operational readiness informed decisionmaking and continuity of critical financial services.

Work Location: This role is based in Arlington VA or Dallas TX and would require you to reside close to either of these cities.

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:

• The Senior Business Analyst interacts with users to identify opportunities to improve user and system efficiency.
• Works directly with clients to determine project scope document requirements resolve specifications and developmentissues coordinate implementation tasks and support training initiatives.
• This role performs the assigned tasks with a high level of technical complexity or organizationalvisibility and require specialized technical or analytical expertise.
• Plans and implements complex data analysis and reporting projects.
• Elicits business requirements from users develops and documents functional system requirements analyzes and documentsbusiness processes success factors and related metrics and plans and supports releaseprocesses.
• Gathers facts analyzes data prepares synopses comparing alternatives in terms of cost time availability of tools and personnel and recommends a course of action.
• Identify failures during reviews or test execution and logs the information needed to allowthe developer to understand reproduce and address the issue.
• Provides technical and non-technical support to users interacting with systems business applications and desktopsolutions.
• Ensures systems and services meet business requirements and design specifications.
• Develops and produces reports with technical complexity using reporting tools in multiple applications.
• Works independently and provides technical leadership to less experienced staff in the same role.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience or an Associates degree and 10 years of experience or a High School diploma/equivalentand 12 years of experience.
• US Citizenship required; must have abilityto obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• 8 years of experience performing business and process analysis.
• 8 years of developing business requirements to include:process narratives user stories and personas use cases business rules business and system models interface design and definitions wireframes data flow diagrams and data mapping.
• 8 years of experience supporting release implementations includingcreating and executing test plans and test cases.
• Experience resolving highly complex requirements conflicts through effectivestakeholder engagement.
• Experience developing presentations and presenting to clients.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
