Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented person to support RVCOs Regional Optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional this role you will serve as a data steward for VCOs models ensuring data integrity governance and consistency across systems.

As a senior member of the team you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders contribute to executive-level presentations and play a key role in advancing analytical capabilities process improvements and data-driven culture across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts detailed analysis of refinery and clean products network data identifying trends and discrepancies in performance and pricing using various tools to generate insights that inform and guide business decisions.
  • Lead the collection validation and management of data to ensure accuracy consistency and reliability to support the VCO models.
  • Assist in the development of presentations for key meetings with leadership working closely with business unit contacts.
  • Develop reports or tools to support analytics and monitor KPIs providing insights into performance vs expectations to Value Chain leadership.
  • Collaborate with RVCO team and participate in meetings to understand their analytical and reporting needs to support continuous improvement.
  • RO Projects: Support Regional Optimization project and initiatives by assisting with business requirements and testing solutions.
  • Identify and drive process improvements automation and AI integration to enhance data systems and workflows.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or related discipline required.
  • Six (6) years in Accounting Finance Commercial or related field.
  • General understanding of operations systems such as MIPS MPR RightAngle and Planning Database is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required and experience in Power BI preferred.
  • Experience with forecasting pricing strategy or network optimization is preferred.
