• Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI to support a growing user base.
• Develop and maintain robust databases with PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities using OpenAI technologies.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP for reliability and efficiency in application deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot backend services to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• 6 years of experience in backend engineering with a strong focus on Python and FastAPI.
• Proficient in database management particularly with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with AI integration particularly using OpenAI technologies.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

• Experience with frontend technologies such as React to facilitate better collaboration with frontend teams.
• Previous work in the consumer tech sector particularly in applications involving user engagement.
• Knowledge of best practices in software development and agile methodologies.

The salary for this role ranges from $200K to $275K complemented by competitive equity options between 0.5% and 1%. This company offers a vibrant work environment with opportunities for professional growth and innovation.
