Job Summary
Responsibilities:Audit analyze and review existing control logic developed across disparate programming standards. Clean up correct and optimize the codebase to improve controller and HMI performance while eliminating data noise.
Audit & PLC-to-SCADA Alignment: Review existing Allen-Bradley PLC logic and Ignition gateway setups to isolate specific pain points and faulty tag configurations causing data noise or false fault signals.
Data Cleanup Execution: Clean up historical and real-time data pipelines within Ignition eliminating redundant erroneous or low-value data points that skew OPR and downtime tracking.
KPI Mapping: Structure data pipelines to map directly and accurately to MTTR MTBF OPR and bottleneck identification models.
Framework Integration: Utilize companys tracking framework to establish a regular reporting cadence for data integrity progress.
Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Controls/Computer Control Systems Mechatronics or a related technical field paired with 5 years of hands-on Controls or Applications Engineering experience in a fast-paced high-volume manufacturing environment. Allen Bradley PLC experience Factory talk & ignition.
Allen-Bradley PLCs & Controls Systems: Ability to navigate audit and trace data logic within Studio 5000 / Logix Designer environments.
FactoryTalk HMI Optimization: Proven ability to optimize HMI structures through tag tracing program updates custom screen development and scripting to improve system performance.
Ignition SCADA/MES: High proficiency with the Inductive Automation platform (Ignition) including data logging database connectivity and script optimization.
