SENIOR AUDIO - VISUAL SPECIALIST Sloan Technology Services will perform daily inspections maintenance and repair of AV systems; diagnose and resolve hardware software and networking issues in classrooms and event spaces; provide on-site technical support for classes meetings and special events; support video conferencing recording streaming and AV control systems; manage work through ServiceNow maintain AV inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed; and provide limited desktop support for faculty staff and students during events.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High school diploma; 68 years of professional AV experience including at least 2 years in higher education; expertise in professional AV technologies including Crestron Q-SYS DSPs Dante/NDI video conferencing and streaming platforms; strong troubleshooting customer service and communication skills; ability to work independently in a high-profile environment and lift up to 40 pounds including use of ladders or lifts. PREFERRED: Bachelors degree in Audio Visual or Information Technology field; CTS certification or ITIL experience; AV related certification such as CTS; educated in ITIL best practices and experience applying.
