Key Responsibilities
- Represent municipalities and public entities in legal matters involving governance compliance contracts and litigation
- Advise clients on employment labor litigation regulatory and operational matters
- Draft and negotiate contracts resolutions pleadings ordinances and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research risk analysis and case strategy development
- Attend public meetings hearings negotiations and client consultations
- Collaborate with attorneys and leadership on complex legal matters
- Support client relationship development and community engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active admission to the New Jersey Bar
- 10 years of legal experience preferred
- Experience in municipal law public entity law labor/employment law litigation or related practice areas strongly preferred
- Strong drafting negotiation and litigation skills
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Ability to manage matters independently and client relationships
- Commitment to professionalism ethics and client service excellence

Base salary starting at $135000 depending on experience
