Key Responsibilities

  • Represent municipalities and public entities in legal matters involving governance compliance contracts and litigation
  • Advise clients on employment labor litigation regulatory and operational matters
  • Draft and negotiate contracts resolutions pleadings ordinances and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research risk analysis and case strategy development
  • Attend public meetings hearings negotiations and client consultations
  • Collaborate with attorneys and leadership on complex legal matters
  • Support client relationship development and community engagement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Active admission to the New Jersey Bar
  • 10 years of legal experience preferred
  • Experience in municipal law public entity law labor/employment law litigation or related practice areas strongly preferred
  • Strong drafting negotiation and litigation skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage matters independently and client relationships
  • Commitment to professionalism ethics and client service excellence
