Job Description

What you will be doing:

Manage all phases of general liability litigation from case inception through resolution.
Develop litigation strategies and provide legal analysis and risk assessment.
Draft pleadings motions discovery briefs and settlement agreements.
Conduct depositions mediations arbitrations hearings and trials as needed.
Communicate directly with clients insurance carriers opposing counsel and experts.
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys associates and support staff.
Collaborate with firm leadership to expand and strengthen the California practice.

Experience you will need:

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active admission to the California Bar.
Significant experience handling general liability litigation matters.
Strong legal writing research negotiation and advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters and client relationships.
Experience supervising associates or litigation teams preferred.
Existing portable book of business preferred.
Experience generating and maintaining client relationships.
Ability to bring an associate or established team.
Prior leadership or partnership experience within a law firm environment.
