Essential Functions:

• Design develop integrate and test software applications and systems in support of program requirements
• Write clean maintainable code using languages such as JavaScript Python Java or similar
• Participate in software requirements analysis design reviews and code reviews
• Support debugging troubleshooting and resolution of software defects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including systems hardware and test engineering
• Document software designs test procedures and technical specifications in accordance with program standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree there is a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Must be eligible and able to obtain a Secret clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active US Secret security clearance preferred
• Experience with at least one programming language such as C Python or Java
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile Waterfall or hybrid)
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Subversion (SVN)
• Exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools or software modeling
• Experience working within a defense or government contracting environment
• Knowledge of software security practices and secure coding standards
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with automated testing frameworks or test-driven development (TDD)

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $74500-$138500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
