Job Description:

• Responsible for implementing and maintainingcost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment andsystems
• Performs engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systems
• Uses a variety of test and measurement equipment toevaluate radio performance
• Create test strategies and specifications for new andderivative assemblies
• Prepare test and diagnostic software design testfixtures complete test procedures for new and existing products
• Develop debug optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
• Document test hardware and software using computerbased tools
• Instruct technicians in the completion of testrequirements as described above
• Ensures production goals & metrics are met from a test perspective

Essential Functions:

• Design develop and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Support Delivery of new products to our manufacturing facility.
• Fixture cable PCB design for automated manufacturing test fixtures.
• Positive attitude openness to new ideas willingness to learn new tools.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience in digital analog and RF circuitry design/troubleshoot
• Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers generators oscilloscopes and meters
• Understanding of software defined radio products and communications
• Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability; Working knowledge of functional board level testing unit and system level testing coverage analysis
• Must be a self-starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision
• NI LabVIEW/TestStand development experience
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development process.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York State is $70500 - $130500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
