Job Description:

L3Harris in Palm Bay Florida currently has an opening for a Circuit Card Design this role you will develop and test digital circuits for data acquisition and computing systems. Responsibilities will include generation of specifications component selection high-speed digital circuit design simulation analyses support of PWB layout and integration & verification testing.

Essential Functions:

• Participate in the design and development of electrical circuits and systems including schematic capture and PWB layout.
• Utilize understanding of CCA design process including requirementsgeneration preliminary design peer reviews detailed design test plan generation and integration and test.
• Assist in building and testing prototypes of electronic devices systems and components and conduct experiments to validate performance.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot issues in electrical systems and equipment performing necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Utilize schematic software suite used to generate circuit card designs (Schematic Capture Constraint-Driven Layout Simulation and Timing Analysis).
• Work independently in generating CCA design solutions.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree there is a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with high-speed memory and network interfaces and protocols is desired.
• Self-motivated individuals.
• Ability to work in a team environment and negotiate solutions with Hardware / Software Engineering and Systems Engineering is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Digital Design Techniques and Devices.
• Hardware debugging skills & experience in operation of Signal Generator Logic Analyzer Digital Oscilloscopes
