The GMI FP&Ashort-termteamsupports the GM Internationalregionwith EBIT consolidationandanalytics for monthly operating reviews quarterly earnings and ad-hoc special studies.Our teamis looking for an experienced analyst that is passionate about GMs global businessand that wants to support our diversemarketsand drive improved financialinsights and results.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidatemonthly finance submissions from GMI business units and engage with regional partners to understand drivers of performance and changes to outlook

  • Manage deliverables to corporate FP&A teams including EBIT bridges KPI tracking slides etc.

  • Developsolidrelationshipswith corporate FP&A CFO staff/regional partners and Controllershipto ensure strong consistent communication across teams;facilitateknowledge sharing as needed

  • Support IRs earnings preparation by compilingquarterly earnings materials and craftingkey external messaging

  • Developoptimalvehicle allocation based on country level variable profit data and manageregionalvehicle swap process

  • Develop strategic study topics to drive meaningful impact within GMI and support initiatives from Regional CFO & Presidentof Global Markets

Desired Skills

  • Technical Analysis Ability to perform detailed analysis and consolidation with Hyperion system data (actuals variances forecast data EBIT bridges etc.)

  • Self-Starter Mindset Worksindependently to solve challenges innovateonreporting styles andprovide new insights for leadership to drive business success

  • Leadership Communication & StorytellingComfortable presenting to senior leadership & can distillcomplicated regional inputs into key messagesfor operating forums

  • Strategic/Big Picture Orientation Ability to develop intuition on key itemsimpactingregion

RequiredQualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Financeor related field

  • Solid foundational knowledge of EBIT finance principles

  • 5 years of relevant experience

Ideal AdditionalQualifications

  • Previoussystem experience with excel data analysis

  • Knowledge of GMsproduct/platformportfolio

Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the - Global HQ Warren Mi three times per week at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business
