Job Summary
Join our team as a Senior Agile Transformation Coach in Washington DC partnering with our Randstad client. As an experienced Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SPC) 6 you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Agile methodologies and ensuring the successful implementation of Lean-Agile practices. Your expertise in coaching training and mentoring coupled with a deep understanding of SAFe will contribute to the organizations Agile transformation journey.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SAFe 6 courses and certifications leveraging SAFe Collaborate across various roles and domains.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement the ORK framework for measuring progress and effectiveness.
- Drive end-to-end Agile transformation emphasizing Lean-Agile methodologies with SAFe as a cornerstone.
- Provide guidance on operating models and transformation governance.
- Conduct AgilityHealth maturity assessments and recommend strategies for growth items.
- Coach and mentor leadership and teams on their respective functions within SAFe.
- Exemplify Agile values principles and success patterns serving as a role model for the organization.
- Facilitate Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and Agile Release Train (ART) events.
- Support Agile tooling administration strategy and adoption including SAFe for Enterprise AgilityHealth and Atlassian Cloud.
- Identify and coach Agile champions within functional areas to act as local mentors.
- Develop Lean-Agile training materials and deliver content to existing teams and new talent.
- Assist in launching and maturing Communities of Practices across departments.
- Identify and address recurring issues and bottlenecks implementing comprehensive solutions.
- Coach the organization through change addressing impediments that hinder productivity and quality.
- Develop and monitor metrics to track Agile adoption and maturity accelerating transformation efforts.
- Cultivate an environment promoting autonomy skill mastery empowerment transparency innovation and learning.
- Foster a fail-safe fail-fast environment encouraging experimentation for optimal solutions.
- Advocate for lean thinking principles reducing cycle times limiting work in progress understanding flow and identifying waste/inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
- SAFe 6 Practice Consultant (SPC) Certification & Enablements.
- 6 years of agile coaching experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in engineering IT or a related field.
- 3 years guiding Agile portfolios product lines and budgeting.
- Experience transitioning from waterfall to Agile in a complex regulated environment.
- Proficiency with Jira Confluence AgilityHealth and SAFe Enterprise.
- Strategic thinking and effective communication skills.
- Active engagement in external agile and product communities.
- Quarterly travel for in-person PI planning on the North East Corridor is required.
- Ability to operate effectively in a virtual environment.
