Senior Advisor Finance Business Partner Metals (Kennecott Utah Copper LLC South Jordan UT)

Responsible for monitoring department cost transactions and conducts month-end close processes. Provides cost and trend analysis. Supports Metals Operations budgeting process (cost model SAP uploads plan presentations). Manages and upskills stakeholders in cost control. Evaluates dept capital projects ($10M or less). Manages and improves financial tools and systems. Provides financial insights and reporting to stakeholders.

Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week.

Full time employment Monday Friday 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field and 10 years of related work experience.

Must have 10 years of experience in each of the following:

• Finance; and

• Presenting complex financial or operational data to internal stakeholders.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Mining operations;

• Financial analysis and financial modeling;

• Aligning financial initiatives with the organizations strategic objectives in the mining sector;

• Analyzing business and value chain data including interpreting complex financial data and making recommendations to support business decisions;

• Managing multiple concurrent projects including scheduling task prioritization and meeting project deadlines; and

• Using Microsoft Office SAP and Power BI.
