About the role
We are looking for a Senior Advisor - Contract Management to support the effective implementation and continuous improvement of contractor management practices across this role you will serve as a trusted advisor helping ensure alignment with Rio Tintos Contractor Management Standard (E7) while driving contractor performance compliance and value creation.

Reporting to the Manager Contractor Management and working within a collaborative and diverse team at Kennecott you will:
Ensure contractor management processes align with Rio Tintos Contractor Management Standard (E7) and applicable governance requirements
Analyze contractor management data toidentifytrends risks compliance gaps and continuous improvement opportunities
Provide subject matterexpertiseand guidance to operational procurement and business stakeholders on contractor management practices
Partner with stakeholders to strengthen contractor governance accountability and performance outcomes
Support the resolution and escalation of complex contractor-related issues and risks
Develop insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and risk mitigation
Monitor contractor performance andidentifyopportunities to maximize value and operational effectiveness
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance contractor management systems processes and outcomes
About you
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Demonstrated experience typically 8 years in contractor management contract governance procurement engineering business improvement or a related field within mining heavy industry or a similar environment
Bachelors degree in Mining Mechanical Civil Process Engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple business functions
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability including interpreting data toidentifyrisks and opportunities
Strong communicationand relationship-building skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
