The Opportunity

Join Monash University in a senior advisor role where your strategic insight executive communication and stakeholder influence will help the new portfolio of Growth and International which comprises student recruitment and admissions international engagement and transnational education development to deliver on the critically important student load targets of the University. Working closely with the Vice-President (Growth and International) youll lead high-impact strategic reporting executive briefings and coordinate institutional initiatives that advance transnational education development and student recruitment across the Monash Group. This is an outstanding opportunity to work at the centre of enterprise-wide decision-making engaging with senior leaders in Australia and overseas and be part of a high-impact team.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic advisory executive communications policy business management or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.

  • Exceptional writing communication and presentation skills with experience producing high-quality executive reports business cases speeches and strategic papers.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide trusted strategic advice to senior executives within complex sensitive and fast-paced environments.

  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement relationship management and influencing skills across diverse internal and external audiences.

  • Strong analytical conceptual and risk management capabilities with the ability to interpret complex policy identify emerging issues and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Proven ability to lead strategic projects manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Strong understanding of the Australian and international higher education sector including trends in transnational education international partnerships and student recruitment.
