Department Summary

The G. Brint Ryan College of Business is the choice of nearly 9000 students making it one of the largest business schools in the nation. Position Overview

To assist instructors with the preparation and distribution of class materials. This position performs varied and moderately complex clerical work in support of classrooms in the college with a flexible work schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree and one year of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience education and training.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure to adjust to constant changes to handle multiple tasks and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep complex records to assemble and organize data of complex nature and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment tact and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies practices procedures and terminology of assigned function.
* Supervisory skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Willingness to learn new processes and memorization of faculty and staff.

Required License/Registration/Certifications

Job Duties

  • Position serves as the primary point of contact for asset control verification and updates within the EIS and Snipe-IT platforms.
  • Responsible for coordinating annual asset verification activities.
  • Ensures accurate documentation of asset disposition and collects supporting evidence required for verification and audit compliance.
  • Photocopying of instructional materials communicating the status of work orders to faculty and instructional personnel and ensuring a safe and secure environment.
